How To Look Good In A Wedding
All over the world, June is the most popular wedding month. One reason could be because the month of June was named after Juno, the Roman goddess of marriage. They say that Juno would bring prosperity and happiness to all who wed in her month. But whatever the reason may be, it is still undeniable that many couples decide to have their wedding date in the month of June and if you are lucky, you might have been invited to attend one this summer.
Looking good on a wedding is not really a major problem. There are just some things that you need to consider to make sure that you will look good on a wedding. Below are some tips that might be considered helpful:
1. Dress properly
Dressing properly in a wedding means you wear something appropriate for the wedding. This means that you need to consider the location of the wedding, the theme of the wedding, and the season of the year or the time of day when the wedding will take place. These things are extremely important for you to know especially when you are part of the entourage. So if you are one of the bridesmaids, make sure that you choose from bridesmaid dresses ...
... that are appropriate with the theme.
2. Do not overdo your make-up
Many women make a huge mistake when wearing a real heavy make-up on weddings. Of course it is good to use a slightly heavier hand than with your usual daytime makeup so your photos won't have you appearing washed-out looking, but it doesn’t mean that you have to overdo it or you might end up looking as someone who attended a Halloween party instead.
3. Have confidence
Once you have chosen your dress for the wedding, and you have already put your make up on, remember to carry yourself with confidence. Don't forget the importance of Body-Mind-Spirit. What's going on inside is just as important to looking good.
Though you are preparing to look good for the wedding, remember that the wedding isn’t about you, but it is about the couple who are going to wed. This means you do not have to get the limelight from the most important people in the wedding. Even if you are a bridesmaid, you should consider your bridesmaid dress not to be so extravagant that it will steal the attention of the visitors from the real bride.
