Home Remedies For Acne Scars Can Give You Flawless Skin

Acne scars can often be very frustrating for a person to deal with, especially in the case of women, and can also be a cause of embarrassment. Many people feel less confident with the acne scars on their face, and stop socializing because of the same. They keep themselves locked indoors and crib about the scars. However, not many of these people actually know what exactly to do about the situation. There are many home remedies for acne scars that help to solve this problem effectively, but one just needs to be aware of them.
One of the easiest home remedies for acne scars is to apply Vitamin E oil on them. It is very effective in reducing the scars, and with regular use, one can see them vanishing very quickly. If the oil is not available, then one can also consider getting Vitamin E capsules, and can open them to mix with a daily use cream or moisturizer. It is easier to open some capsules, mix them well in a bottle of moisturizer and store it, so that one can pull it out conveniently, and use this moisturizer daily.
Another easy home remedy is to mix honey with lemon, and apply it on the scars. Honey has anti-bacterial ...
... properties, while lemon acts as natural bleach. In combination, they help to reduce the scars. It is best to apply it for about 20 minutes before washing the face.
For some people, a mix made of cucumber and tomato juice applied on the acne scars also turns out to be useful in reducing them.
A paste of rose water and sandalwood is also good to apply on the scars. In fact, this paste is so light that one can consider applying it daily after a day's work. Rose water is fragrant and refreshing, and adds a glowing touch to the skin. One can also carry a small bottle of rose water along with a few cotton balls daily, and wipe off the face with it whenever it feels oily, or whenever a person feels like taking a little break from work to feel refreshed.
The insides of papaya skin are also very good, and this is again one of the most convenient home remedies for reducing acne scars. These should be rubbed for about 5 minutes, and then the peel should be left on the skin for 15 minutes. Wash the face with cold water afterwards.
One must also know and realize that the biggest enemy of acne scars is too many chemical treatments and chemical based beauty products. It is advisable to not go in for any kind of skin treatments or chemical peels and facials, unless a skin specialist approves them. One must also start using natural or herbal beauty products, such as face washes, face packs, cosmetics etc instead of chemical ones. All home remedies for acne scars will only work when one is genuinely taking care of the skin and following a proper skin care regimen. Otherwise, the scars can worsen with time and may stay permanently.
