Imagine being a caveman when nothing really existed, other than what you could produce. There weren’t homes for you to shelter yourself from the blistering weather. There weren’t businesses, such as supermarkets or even fast food shops, where you could simply go and get food then quickly come home. There was also no such thing as transportation as a caveman. There weren’t even toys to play with like there are today. Life as a caveman, especially without Castors, is dreadful to even consider.

They had to fight to eat, which was more complex than it sounds because they had to construct a way to kill animals bigger than themselves before they killed them. Even if they decided to take the vegetarian route and not kill animals for food, they still had to hope animals didn’t find them while they were out scouring the planet for food. Even though the cavemen may have taken the vegetarian course, it’s highly unlikely that every animal they encountered would have the same outlook. Just think if cavemen would have had castors though… The possibilities for how they could have helped them are endless!

In ...
... the aspect of simple protection methods, they could have constructed many different things that would have kept them safe. Think about this, a castor system that catapulted oncoming predators into the air when they got close to a caveman’s home. When the predator finally came back down to the ground, it’s safe to say they’d be too scared to keep pursuing their victim.

As for hunting, they could have made a way to automate throwing an arrow at what potentially could have been dinner. Similar to a catapult-like contraption, it could hurl the arrow in a much straighter line, rather than hoping they had good aim.

More importantly, just think about how castors would have helped them to get around to different places. Transportation may not have been non-existent if cavemen would have invented them. They could have gone on road trips and taken vacations too! While there weren’t skyscrapers and amusement parks back then, it might have been exciting to see new… flat… land. You never know, cavemen were infatuated with the smallest of things.

It’s been documented that cavemen chiseled stone. It’s obvious, considering they used arrows with sharp tips to kill for food. So consider the idea of them having a way to build a house back then instead of living in caves, as their title implies. Castors would have made moving different materials easier, which actually expand further than simply building a house. While it would have been easier to put a roof over their newly constructed walls, they definitely wouldn’t have helped with interior design.

However, it’s clear to see how much easier life would have been for cavemen if they would have had Castors. It would have made nearly every aspect of their life much easier in many different ways. They could have been protected, gotten around easier, and even had a more secure shelter all because of one little invention.
