Catalogs can be quite expensive to produce because of the many pages they have and the usually glossy materials used. However, business owners continue to print them regularly, like every season or during special sales, because they move people to buy their products. If you have a building full of products, you cannot expect your customers to finish going around it in like two hours. But if you make a catalog for them; it will be easier for them to navigate and find what they want. That is why companies pour in thousands of dollars in their catalog printing. It is an investment that they are willing to make.
There are many ways to get your catalogs out to your reader. What good use is a catalog if it doesn’t get to the hands of your target market? The envelope itself is already a powerful advertising tool. It should speak of where the package came from and what is inside. The envelope itself should move people to act on the matter, namely to open the envelope and see what is inside. It should get them curious, not furious as to getting another catalog in the mail. Not only will your catalog look official and more professional, it will surely get your recipient to open it.
2. Taking in out on the Front Steps. If your business operates in a small community scale, like in just a couple of cities or in one district, then hire a service that can deliver these printed materials on the front door of your prospective clients. You can identify the areas where your customers usually live and limit the deliveries there.
If you are selling high fashion items, do not give away catalogs in tenement areas. So identify where your market usually lives. So after you have printed those customized envelopes, wrap the catalog in clear plastic so that they will not get wet from the rain or the scheduled sprinklers that water the lawn. It would be a nice thing for people to pick up their front door deliveries along with the morning paper. Your catalog would surely be read as the person has his coffee and reads his paper. Chances are, he will also open it and browse through it. If he sees something interesting, then he will surely stick around some more and read further.
Catalogs are a great way to inform your prospective clients about your new products, to remind them of your existing lines, and to tell them of your deals. That is why catalog printing is a good investment and should be put to good use: primarily because, they help sell your products.
