We have seen the pregnant mothers read lot of books related to child care, pregnancy tips and child health. One of the aspects which we usually miss out on is the pre born education. The pre born education is about to guiding young mothers about the baby and also giving insights on protecting baby’s health and is considered very important point when you seek pregnancy tips.

We take a lot of care of the baby while he is in the womb and also after the baby is delivered. But the baby’s future health is not something we plan in advance, hoping that everything will be just perfect, which in most cases is not! This is the reason that pre born education about the child is important. There are quite a few factors whichthe parents particularly the mother should know about right from the time the baby is nurtured in the womb.

The advantage of cord blood storage is the first thing one should know about. Cord blood is present in the umbilical cord that connects the mother and the baby and carries vital nutrients to the baby before it is born. After the baby is delivered the function of the placenta and the umbilical cord ...
... gets over and isusually cut and discarded. The cord blood present in the umbilical cordalso gets discarded along with the placenta. Cord blood is a rich in hematopoietic stem cells and hence is known to cure many blood related diseases in later life. Collection of umbilical cord and cord bloodis a pain less procedure that doesn’t affect the safety of the mother and the baby. Cord blood banking is the collection, processing and storage of the cord blood so that it can be used for the future. The cord blood banking helps in increasing the cord blood storage.

The umbilical cord is the only connection a baby has with the mother once it is in the womb. For 9 months all the necessary nutrients are transferred to baby from the mother through the baby cord. The umbilical cord being a rich source of mesenchymal and epithelial stem cells is useful for the future medicinal therapies. Saving the umbilical cord and the tissue is important and this can be done with the process of Cryosave. Cryosave is the process where cells or tissues are preserved by cooling to low sub-zero temperatures. Cryogenic storage (low-temperature preservation) of the stem cells helps in preserving these for the medicinal use in the future. At these low temperatures, any biological activity, including the biochemical reactions that would lead to cell death, is effectively stopped.
The stem cells play a very important role in the body. These stem cells are known to replenish the blood and improve the immune system. With these stem cells collected during birth of the baby many diseases can be cured in future. The sources of the stem cells are the umbilical cord blood, peripheral blood and bone marrow.

The baby cord and the baby cell are not only important for the baby but also for the whole family. Parents usually do not pay much attention to this crucial subject while planning for a baby or when it is born. But a careful planning of the present can lead to a better and a safer tomorrow. Thus baby cord and the baby cell must be preserved and getting knowhow about this is very importantbefore the baby is born.
