The first step in the process is to take a razor blade and start removing any lose piece of glass that might be present around the damaged area. This process is necessary as any loose piece would make all your effort to repair the windscreen go waste. The second step in the process is to place the suction cup tool over the damaged but cleaned area such that the threaded part of the suction cup tool is directly over the chipped or damaged part of the glass, also ensure that all the four of the suctions cup are tightly placed on the windscreen.
The third step is to insert the threaded repair tube in to the suction cup tool where there is a hole in the center of the tool. Ensure that the tube is directly above the damaged area and this tube and the suction tool comes with the repair kit, you don’t have to take it up or buy them separately. After inserting the tube in the suction cup tool, tighten is strongly with by hand only, don’t use any tools. The fourth step is to recheck the alignment of the tool and the threaded cup, as this process depends heavily on proper alignment. The fifth step is to pour the windshield repair resin to the tube inserted.
The sixth step is to tighten again the cap over the threaded tube so that it can lay pressure on the resin inserted in to tube, thus forcing it to flow in to the damaged area. The seventh step is to loosen the plunger or cap on the threaded tube to allow air to escape, after that retighten it again. The eight step is to remove the suction cup tool after like 5 minutes and then apply the finishing film present in the kit. After that allow the resin under the film dry completely, once that is done then remove the film and the repair is done.
