While playing a sport when we are getting pushed to improve our balance we spread our legs wide. This gives us a more stable stand and we can withstand the push better without risk of toppling over. We do it instinctively without contemplating why it should help us become more stable but there is simple physics which explains the action as well. When you spread your legs you reduce your height and bring your center of gravity closer to the ground. You also broaden the base on which you stand both of which make your stance more stable.

Now when you drive a high performance car stability is an important issue. However other than controlling the speed or its trajectory you may feel there is not much more that you can do to make your car more stable. But speed and fast turns are the key elements of a car that promises high performance and reducing that will take away the edge from the performance. And therefore you will want to avoid doing that. So you need alternate means to make your car more stable. Now you cannot broaden the base of the car which would make it more stable, but you can make its center of gravity lower. ...
... And to do that you need to buy lowering kits.

So what are these lowering kits? Well these are a set of components that help lower the suspension of your car. A key part of lowering kits are the lowering springs. These are the springs that work as shock absorbers. The lowering springs are shorter than the shock absorber springs that came with the stock car and therefore the car sits lower when you switch to them. Since the travel of the springs is now less the car's suspension may feel a little stiffer. On the other hand the car will be more stable and unless you are driving on particularly bad roads you will not mind the stiffer suspension. You will enjoy a ride that is thrilling but safer. Lowering springs do not cost a lot and the lower suspension also makes your car look cool when compared to other similar cars. You can know more at www.ilovebodykits.com.
