There can be situations in our life when ignorance is bliss but it is usually more often that knowledge brings joy and ignorance prevents us from getting the best. Take for example the car aftermarket products industry. There are so many products offered by it but an average car owner will know of only a few of them. Of course it does not make sense to inform yourself about all the products out there but there are some stand out products that it makes sense to know more about. Typically these are products that have a strong value proposition which is not very obvious when you see the product installed on a car.

For example a cold air intake for the uninitiated may appear to be an extra embellishment used by road cars to appear like a racing car. Though of course it is true that a cold air intake looks cool mounted on the hood it does have a more solid benefit to offer as well. After all the racing cars do not use them just for the looks. So why do they use them? Well cold air intakes improve the amount of power delivered by the engine and they also improve the fuel economy. And they do this in a very elegant manner. ...
...

They carry cold air directly to the engine which is of lower temperature than air that otherwise reaches the engine after traveling through the hot engine compartment. Since the air is cold it is denser and more of it is able to get into the combustion cylinder which means there is more oxygen available for the fuel's combustion. This in turn results in better combustion and more fuel gets burnt and less fuel gets wasted in every combustion cycle. Though the difference per cycle is small it all adds up and you get more power and higher fuel efficiency which is quite tangible.

You can check out cold air intakes conveniently by going online. You will find you can get quality intakes such as AEM intakes for a reasonable cost. And the more you will know about them the more you will like them. You can see the latest air intakes at www.ilovebodykits.com.
