A Tale Of A Young Couple, Their Dream Of Owning A House And A Mortgage Broker In Edmonton

Last week we were speaking to some good friends who had been doing a methodical research in order to find the best mortgage broker in Edmonton. Sam and his girlfriend, Nina, had concluded that things amongst them were serious enough to start looking for a house to buy. We had known each other for a long time, and listening while they explained the thoughts and feelings which led to their decision was simply great.

We thought it was definitely time to celebrate, so we invited them to move the discussion to a nearby restaurant, an excellent Lebanese eatery on the lakeside. Around the table, it was time for us to tell them how we got hold of the money to buy the house we're living in right now and how we dealt with loans and property acquisition.

Similarly to how we were then, Sam and Nina had also just finished college and didn't have much in their bank accounts, since they had been working for only a year or so. We could easily feel their fervor as they told us how they thought it was all about good planning and being ready to give up a few superfluous things, which they were ready for, although they knew it was not going to be simple. Although they always enjoyed partying with friends and a refined lifestyle, both were ready to put that aside in order to secure a more durable plan. Regardless of all this, we all knew that all their plans still depended on one chief step, which was obtaining a good Edmonton mortgage offering excellent interest rates over a long enough period.

At the end of the evening Sam told us how, after monitoring the trends of the past 24 months, he was certain the situation was now quite good. He had been in touch with various people, but there was one particular mortgage broker in Edmonton's financial district whom he was really pleased about. Since they were offered excellent rates and conditions, they settled to go for it and were signing the contract the following day. So this evening we're all getting together to celebrate and toast to their new house: what a fabulous day for a young couple!
