Fiat Designer Sketches The Design For The 2012 Fiat Dino

A lot of car buyers have long been waiting for Fiat to create a coupe model that would be incorporated into the line of vehicles that they are selling in North American markets. This was because Fiat, a popular Italian car maker has discontinued producing its Fiat Coupe since 2000 which caught most car finders who prefer to purchase coupes by surprise.
In addition to this, Fiat dealerships also stopped providing auto financing deals for this model. However, the company has recently realized that there are still a lot of new car finders who wish to own a Fiat coup. Due to this, Fiat’s British designer Peter Norris has begun studying possible designs that would be used for the 2012 Fiat Dino.
The proposed 2012 Fiat Dino would be a luxury sports car that is rear-wheel-drive with its engine mounted in front. The design would be sleek with its wheels appearing to be colossal due to the vehicle’s roofline that is very low. The latest version of the ...
... Dino will project an aggressive stance brought about by its massive wheel arches.
Its front and rear designs are somehow similar to what the Aston Martins of the present have. Its similarities with the Aston Martins were brought about by its upright bumper in front and the headlights’ shape. To provide this coupe with a touch of elegance, C-shaped units of LED lights would be installed on it together with central exhaust pipes.
According to Norris, this has started as a Fiat Coupe reboot. However, Norris decided to switch the design suited for a luxury coupe. The primary reason for this is that the upcoming 2012 Fiat Dino would be using the Pininfarina badges.
Given these, the upcoming Fiat Dino would not be considered as the successor of the late 1990s Fiat Coupe which was a front-wheel-drive version. This is because the 2012 Fiat Dino will be using a drivetrain layout similar to that of the 1960s version of the Fiat Dino with designs made by Chris Bangle. Due to these, the 2012 Fiat Dino will surely become a popular luxury sports car with a lot of features to boast for.
