Scentsy, Inc. is a wickless candle company, with a home party business plan approach, offering a variety of scented wickless candles that are heated in decorative ceramic candle warmers. The simplicity and value of these flameless candle products provide a better alternative to burning wicked candles in the home and office.

In August 2007, Carolyn Hall (now a Scentsy SuperStar Director) purchased her very first Scentsy warmer and fragrance from a friend/consultant. Immediately she fell in love with the product! The fragrance was incredible and the safety unmatched. With the low cost of the consultant starter kit (Now only $99.00 USD), and a true LOVE for the product, Carolyn decided to join!

Back then Carolyn was just new to the Canton, Georgia area and so she invited her new neighbors and friends to her launch party. Carolyn sold $1200 that day, booked 8 future parties and her neighbor joined her team! It was then that she knew that she was onto something GREAT and that she could succeed with Scentsy!

Carolyn quickly replaced her other part time job income and was able to work from home with her ...
... new Scentsy business. With flexible hours, she focused on growing her business while still being home with her young family. She found that selling Scentsy wickless candles and Scentsy warmers was easy! The product attributes….Scents, Safety and Savings made it fun to share with others.

At the time she joined, there were just over 2000 nationwide consultants. Now in 2011, Scentsy has grown into a multi-million company ($388 million – 2010 revenue) and over 110,000 active consultants nationwide! Scentsy’s consultant base covers the United States, Puerto Rico, Guam, Canada, England and Germany.

Scentsy, Inc. is an award winning company and was named the No. 1 fastest-growing consumer products and services company in the country in the 2010 edition of the Inc. 500 list, published by Inc. magazine. Overall, Scentsy was No. 19 on the prestigious list of the fastest-growing private companies in America.

Orville Thompson got the idea for the product after meeting two women at a trade show who were demonstrating how to use a wickless scented candle. It used a low-wattage light bulb inside a ceramic warmer to safely melt scented wax.

Shortly thereafter Thompson and his wife Heidi purchased the Scentsy name, inventory and moved Scentsy to Meridian, ID. To market it, they set it up as a home party business plan company similar to Avon, The Pampered Chef or Tupperware.

By 2009, Scentsy Inc, had annual revenues of $178,375,434. That’s a cumulative growth rate of 8,094 percent from 2006, when revenues totaled $2,176,876.

Direct sales with companies such as Scentsy have flourished in the last few years despite, or possibly because of, the recession when companies began shedding jobs.
According to the Direct Selling Association, the direct-sales force nationwide topped 16.1 million in 2009, the latest year for which it has figures. That’s up from 15 million in 2007, the year the recession officially started, and 15.1 million the following year.

“What I love the most about being a Scentsy consultant is that I have control of my own destiny,” says Carolyn. “Scentsy offers an incredible product line of wickless candles and warmers and consultant support that makes owning my own business (Wickfree Candles, Inc.) an absolute dream! My Scentsy journey has been amazing and the future continues to be bright!”

With her own amazing team of consultants, Carolyn Hall can definitely say she has a successful career with Scentsy Wickless Candles! It’s a SCENTSATIONAL business opportunity!

Carolyn says “It’s all about the fragrance with NONE of the worry! It’s the safest candle you will ever meet!”

Carolyn Hall of wickfreecandles.com is an Independent SuperStar Director (Independent Consultant) with Scentsy Inc. Carolyn says that the safety and affordability of the product are two attributes she values! Did you know that Scentsy Wickless candles are wickless, flameless, smokeless, and lead-free? Let Carolyn share with you the dozens of styles of scentsy warmers in over 80 great scents with her home party business !
