Next-generation Bmw 5 And 7 Might Feature Customized Lcd Gauges
The race towards grabbing greater market shares from closest competitors has brought car makers to different destinations. Among the most common efforts that car producers are focusing to earn more customers are the introduction of better auto financing deals to car buyers, production of vehicles with impressive safety features, and improving their vehicle’s specs to obtain better fuel-economy. However, the competition has subsequently led car makers to install more sophisticated gadgets on their car models so as to convince new car finders to purchase their vehicles.
BMW for example has focused a lot of efforts towards the development of an advanced LCD interface that would be installed on its BMW 5 and BMW 7 units. This effort was sparked by BMW’s desire to match the gadgets used by its closest competitors particularly by Mercedes Benz and Jaguar-Land Rover. This was also believed to be the outcome of the companies to upgrade the interface used by its vehicles to provide greater comfort and satisfaction ...
... to the growing number customers who want to own either the expensive and cheap new car models produced by this German carmaker.
BMW has created a special team to focus on the development of this interface. This resulted to a joint effort between a team from BMW in Munich, Germany and a team from BMW’s Technology Office from Mountain View, California. Their mandate is to develop an interface that will incorporate the speedometer, tachometer, and gauges that monitor the BMW 5 and 7’s oil temperature and fuel levels.
In addition to this, BMW wants the interface to include some of the controls for the vehicle’s infotainment and navigation system. This will help the driver to monitor the car’s basic performance such as its speed, oil level, and temperature manageability. However, the team should do their best to develop an innovative interface. BMW also want the team to make sure that the interface will be appreciated not just because it is sophisticated but as a useful device.
As of the moment, car buyers who are expecting this feature from the BMW 5 and 7 should wait for the final output of the team’s efforts.
