Most of the radicals have been caught doing several acts of crimes. De-radicalization on the other hand is the process by which a person who has radicalized moves from radicalized life and lives a normal life.
According to Hussein, the process of radicalization and de-radicalization is possible as he gives evidence on how he radicalized and later de-radicalized. He became a radical and when he was within the group found that the acts they were being involved in contradicted the teachings of Qur’an and of the Islamic religion. He blamed on the mis-interpretation of the Islamic teachings which has contributed to the extremism. He relates the radicalism with politics in which radicals tend to involve themselves with politics though it has been spoken of by the Qur’an.
