Nortel Networks Completes Its Suite Of Security Certifications
Nortel Networks has released its latest comptia security, Nortel Networks Certified Support Expert (NNCSE) in Contivity Security. With the NNCSE certification, Nortel Networks now has a full suite of security certifications, involving both pre-sales (Design) and post-sales (Support) roles.

... using Nortel Networks solutions and is for the mid-level to senior-level support technician, with six to 12 months of related work experience. All of Nortel's security certifications require the successful completion of one exam. The Network+ certification requires that you have completed the Contivity Security (#920-449) exam and have the Nortel Networks Certified Support Specialist (NNCSS) certification.
Candidates for certifications should demonstrate an increased level and range of product expertise demonstrated in a lab environment to maintain a live system which include problem identification, provisioning, upgrades, commissioning/Initial configuration, operations, administration, maintenance and troubleshooting.
According to Nortel Networks, engineers certified by Nortel Networks will be able to deliver secure access to Web sites and networks with integrated voice and data security functionality and management capabilities, scalability and ease-of-provisioning.
Nortel Network Certification web-based exams are $49 (U.S.), and their proctored exams begin at $149 (U.S.).

Sideris Courseware Corp., a company that has made a name for itself in the Oracle market, recently announced that it is expanding its courseware catalog. Sideris has added CompTIA, IC3, MSCE and MOS certification courses to its catalog and will also distribute the GTSLearning Business Skills and IT security courseware.
Sideris has already received a passing grade on its A+ courseware, "The A+ courseware has received the highest rating ever given by CompTIA and has won the CAQC-approval for instructor-led content," said Perry Ebel, director of sales and marketing. "We can now offer MCSE exams courses for CompTIA, IC3 and Microsoft Office.
