Use A Wep Cracker To Protect Your Wifi Network
It is not all that easy to run a network and when it is one that runs on WiFi it is all the more difficult. It is extremely easy to connect to a wireless signal that is available off your premises and if you have not set any password for WiFi you are simply asking for trouble. The people around your house will easily be able to get into your network, use your Internet bandwidth which you are paying for, steal your files and view your personal information. To avoid this, there are penetration devices available in the market and they come with spam filters and WEP crackers.
There is no doubt that the WiFi network is very convenient and allows you to be mobile so that you can setup computers at any place in the building and also communicate with them as and when you wish. You can share files and folders and even devices like printers and an Internet connection. But once you can access all the computers through your WiFi router and if you haven’t taken enough precautions like setting a good enough password for WiFi or you have not setup one of the WEP crackers to secure your network, you can be sure that you will run into ...
... problems some time or the other.
Let’s take the example of someone roaming around your building with a laptop or a cell phone. If your password for WiFi is blank or it is so easy to crack then that person will have easy access to your network and you can’t even imagine the damage that is possible; you will never know what hit you! If you do not have one of the WEP crackers installed these outsiders can make extensive use of the supposedly free WiFi for them when you are paying for it and using it judiciously.
What the WEP crackers do is keep a track of all the IP addresses of the computers that are accessing your network. You can make use of them to set up a password so that only people who are authorized will be able to get access to your Internet connection. When you install a WEP cracker on your network, it will also protect you from virus attacks. If you see how the Internet works today, we find that it is very easy for any network to get invaded by phishers and hackers just because we do not bother to protect it enough. One way of doing this is selecting a password for WiFi which is difficult to crack.
When you select the password for WiFi make sure that you select one that is a combination of not only alphabets and numbers but special characters as well. This will go a long way in reducing the possibility of hackers getting into your network. The WEP crackers will keep a track of who is getting into your network and raise an alarm. This way, you should be able to keep your network secure.
So if you are looking to keep your network secure, choose a difficult password for WiFi and install one of the WEP crackers available right here!
