Aldeburgh is a seaside town along the Suffolk coast and is popular with many tourists from both the UK and abroad. There are a number of accommodation options available to visitors, including bed and breakfasts, inns and cottages, but in this article we shall look at a selection of hotels in Aldeburgh.

The White Lion Hotel is ideally situated on the seafront overlooking the beach. You can experience these fantastic views from many of the bedroom windows, which are all well decorated, comfortable and very inviting. Food is something of a speciality at The White Lion, offering something to suit all tastes, and guests have the choice of dining in the informal beach-facing Bar, or inside the stylish oak-panelled Restaurant. The hotel is also available to hire for various functions, meetings and celebrations, as well as offering a full wedding and reception service.

Another great hotel offering fantastic views is the Thorpeness Hotel. This unique venue needs to be seen to be believed, with its unusual architecture dating from 1920, the hotel retains the atmosphere of a time gone by coupled with modern facilities. The ...
... hotel has 36 comfortable rooms and many of which overlook the Meare, the beautiful gardens or the on-site 18 hole golf course. There are also two bars for refreshment and relaxation, a restaurant offering an extensive and delicious menu, a drawing room, a snooker room and a library. Close to Thorpeness beach there are twelve self catering apartments and houses sleeping from 2 to 10 guests, all of which are furnished to a 4 star standard.

Finally, also in Aldeburgh you will find The Brudenell Hotel. This hotel has 42 bedrooms that have been designed to match the seaside surroundings, and some overlook the sea and the River Alde. “The Bru”, as it is affectionately referred to by locals and regular guests, also has its own award-winning restaurant where fresh seafood dishes are a speciality. The restaurant welcomes all, not just guests at the hotel, so this is a great place to eat out if you are just visiting Aldeburgh for the day.

Be sure to look out for the above mentioned hotels on your next visit to Aldeburgh!
