Home Inspection Marketing

Home inspection marketing can determine whether your business is successful or failure. A home inspector can have the best tools and knowledge in the industry, but if his home inspection marketing isn’t implemented correctly he may be beat by a less experienced or qualified inspector. Here are some things to consider with regards to home inspection marketing:
1. Try to think like a typical client would. Where would they hear about your business or where would they search for your services? Decide who your target audience is an then make a plan to reach them. By choosing an audience and then targeting them you’ll see better results with your home inspection marketing.
2. Come up with a plan to reach your potential clients. Once you’ve decided who you are targeting, write down several home inspection marketing strategies that you can implement to reach your audience. By having a to do list and a set schedule you’ll be more likely to stay on track with your home inspection marketing efforts.
3. Track your efforts by asking every client where they heard about your company. By knowing where your clients ...
... are coming from you can keep track of what is working and what isn’t. Once you get some feedback you can focus your home inspection marketing efforts into the areas that bring the most results.
4. Reevaluate every three months to see what’s working and focus in that area (dig where the gold is!) When implementing a new home inspection marketing strategy don’t give up too soon on an idea. Most strategies take time before you start seeing results. If you’re being consistent and you haven’t seen results within 3-4 months it may be a good idea to re-evaluate and change your strategy.
Traditional home inspection marketing methods aren’t the only option. The future of business is online, so make sure you have a professional website and use social media to aid in your home inspection marketing efforts. If you work hard and be consistent your home inspection marketing will eventually pay off.
