The Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS02) is an experiment equipment of particle physics programmed to be installed on the International Space Station (ISS), aiming to detect exotic matters in the universe such as dark matter and antimatter, etc. It is projected and built by the MIT Chinese American professor, Samuel Chao Chung Ting, who along with his high-energy physics team has been working on applying their more than three decades of experiences of particle accelerator on space research. The AMS02 relies on a large superconducting magnet and six high-precision detectors to complete its search mission.

The AMS02 will be placed on the main frame of the International Space Station for three years, which is to keep away from the atmosphere to ensure uninterrupted work and adequately collect data on the system in the ISS. Deferred again and again for endless accidents of Space Shuttles in recent years, the AMS02 was finally carried into the space by the NASA "Endeavour" launched from the Kennedy Space Center on May 16, 2011.

The mechanical structure of the detector is designed, manufactured and environmental tested ...
... by the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology (CALT) with a high accuracy, which can reach the demanding requirements on strength of mechanical structure during take-off and landing. China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research (IWHR) undertook tests on the structural strength.

It is the last flight of the "Endeavour", and the global media pays close attention. Carrying the AMS02 which is led by the Nobel Laureate Samuel Ting, Chinese industry and media pays more attention. However, Chinese journalists trying to interview the launch were unexpectedly and "discriminatorily" turned away as a result of the "Wolff terms". When the "Endeavor" carrying the AMS02 which is full of Chinese scientists' efforts toward the space, the Chinese reporters simply could not be like journalists from other countries to get into the site to watch the shuttle launch, , or attend NASA's press conference. How regretful is that!

My girlfriend has been chattering about the Tory Burch sale for days. Tory Burch is amazing. But I think I lost my wallet.
