As technology feeds the relentless onward match of human societies of late there has been a growing concern that we are not thinking through all the things we do and some of our progress may actually be doing more harm than good. At such a time as an individual one wants to do all one can to make sure as an individual we have acted conscientiously and tried to do our best to not do harm to our planet. And to do that we must identify things that we can do that will reduce the ill effects of our life style on the environment.

And if we will take a more careful look at the way we lead our lives we will find many instances where we are doing more harm to the environment than we really need to. Take for example the fact that when you use your car you generate harmful exhaust gases that pollute the atmosphere. Now there are simple elegant devices that can help us reduce the amount of harmful gases that our car generates.

Take for example cold air intakes. They help reduce the amount of unburnt fuel in the exhaust gases and therefore make your car more eco friendly. Now you may wonder that since the car runs by burning ...
... fuel how come there is unburnt fuel in the exhaust gases. But the fact is that the fuel is burnt in a very small amount of time in the car's engine. In such a short time though most of the fuel gets burnt, it is still not possible for entire amount of fuel to get burnt. But if we can make the ignited flame spread better in the combustion volume then more fuel will get burnt. And we can get the flame to spread faster if we have more oxygen in the combustion volume. And we can have more oxygen in the combustion volume if we use a cold air intake because cold air has more density and so more can fit into a given volume.

Cold air intakes make you car more eco friendly and the engine delivers more power and mileage. You can get them for all major car makes, for example if you own a Civic you can check out Honda cold air intakes by going online. You can know more at www.ilovebodykits.com.
