Mountain Huang, locating in Huangshan city of south Anhui province, is one of the eight most beautiful mountains in China, and crowned as King of Mountains. It is also a sacred place of Taoism with numerous ancient ruins and sites. Many literates and notables, such as Xiake Xu, Li Po and even Yellow Emperor, have been here since time immemorial. It is one of China's ten most beautiful, shocking mountains. For its pleasant climate, Mountain Huang has been a famous summer resort and National Scenic Area. It was listed as one of China's Ten Best Tourist Attractions in 1985, and approved by the UNESCO as World Cultural and Natural Heritage in December 1990, which was the first approved for both cultural and natural heritage in China. It has a multiple, vast and intact ecosystem.

Mountain Huang is about forty kilometers in length from south to north, thirty kilometers in width from east to west, with a core scenic spot of approximately one hundred and sixty square kilometers. Its average annual temperature is eight degrees Celsius. In summer, the maximum air temperature is no more than 27 degrees Celsius.

... is special for its unique peak forest structure after a long period of orogenesis and crustal uplift, as well as glacier scouring and nature weathering. Thirty six peaks and thirty six small peaks stand there, among which is the main peak Lotus Peak with a height of 1864 meters. Green trees on the peaks, erect peaks in clouds, and you, just standing on top of the world, all of these, combines a rhythmed, magnificent stereoscopic scene.

If you come to Mountain Huang, here are tips for you:
1. If you choose to climb the peak on foot, start it from the Cloudy Valley Temple. It saves your energy. If by cable cars, start from Ciguang pavilion. It saves you time in busy seasons.
2. Go with no burden but a sweater considerably.
3. Carry on a raincoat in case of irregular rains. But NO UMBRELLA!
4. If meet with a thunderstorm, don't climb higher, don't touch the iron chain, and don't stand under trees.
5. Wear frictional shoes. Be concentrated when walking.
6. Have a good time!
