Insurance For All Your Life Needs
As a UK resident, you will often find yourself in the local Post Office, especially if you send a lot of parcels and letters. The extent of your use of the Post Office may be limited to such transactions, or it may range to changing some money prior to a holiday.
However, you may not realise that you can also apply for Post Office insurance. This comes in the form of car insurance, travel insurance, and even life insurance. This astonishing range of insurance types is just part of the expansion of services that the Post Office has not taken on.
Car insurance
When travelling on UK roads, it is a legal requirement for you to have car insurance, ensuring that you and your passengers, as well as other road users are insured in case of an accident. Car insurance cover ensures that any damage made to property is covered, along with injuries to people in an accident that may occur when you are in control of your vehicle; medical costs that are incurred, along with repair costs to vehicles or buildings are covered in the insurance. Post Office Insurance for your car covers you in the same way that it would from ...

Life insurance
As one of the essential insurances that one can have, life insurance covers the holder in case of death, so leaving their remaining family members or executors with a monetary settlement in order for them to be able to carry on living in the event of your death. Once your money earning ability is removed on account of you no longer being alive, your family would not be able to immediately carry on living in the same manner, without a major change to their lifestyle. A life insurance policy will allow them to continue their life in a similar manner to how they would have otherwise.
Travel insurance
Travel insurance is another essential insurance to take out when travelling. This is mainly due to the fact that, unlike in the UK where medical care is free, medical costs that may be incurred can be extremely costly. For example, a broken leg in the UK would simply involve a hospital visit and perhaps an operation, which would simply cost you time. If this situation happened in a foreign country, then you may have to pay many hundreds or even thousands of pounds on bills for surgery and hospital time, on top of having to spend time in hospital.
In addition to costs for illness or injury, travel insurance can protect you for loss of personal property such as passports or jewellery, in case of them being stolen or in some cases lost.
