According to some designers the frameworks are a limiting factor. They find that the frameworks force them to change the design so as to fit the framework. Instead of just having a negative side look of this aspect we can try to see the other side of the coin. There are a number of frameworks out of which you can choose the ones that fit and appropriate for your web design project.

The General CSS Frameworks use the grids to guide the designer at designing the layout. There are frameworks that highlight the use of typography while the layout is at that discretion of the designer. CSS Frameworks save the time of the designer because he/she does not have to start the whole work from the start.

This stands for “Yet another Multicolumn Layout”. With the help of this framework the designer can create layouts that float and are flexible. Different patterns for design such as micro formats, typography, maximum accessibility, forms and compliance with the web standards is possible through this framework. The layouts bases on YAML can be created easily with the help of YAML builder.
