From a country in Asia to the United States, and from a poor student to the most sought after businessman in US-China trade, Benjamin Wey has shown the world what success is. He had come to America some 20 years ago as a Valedictorian with a full academic scholarship to an American University in a Southern State known for agriculture and oil products. He also came with the dream to make it big in America.

Mr. Benjamin Wey. started his career in the mid 1990s as the informal advisor on China affairs to the then Governor of Oklahoma, a Republican. Before that he studied at various prestigious universities and completed his MBA. His expertise in US-China trade gave him a winning edge because back in the 1990’s, the economic potentials between the two giants were still largely unexplored by main stream investors. As a China Advisor to the Governor, Benjamin Wey envisioned the potential growth in bilateral trade relationships between China and the USA and actively worked to bridge the gap between China’s booming economy and the capital markets on Wall Street to fulfil this vision.

Under his able guidance, the State’s ...
... product exports to China reached a new height. To efficiently expand trade relationships between China and the United States, Benjamin Wey developed a business model and pioneered the path to pair high quality China-based companies with the global capital markets. He is also responsible for building a successful business model between China and Wall Street.

Benjamin Wey tarted his firm, now called New York Global Group, in the 1990s.He had just $62 in his pocket, but his foresight of global trade potential at least a decade before global investment interests in China really took off gave him a smooth start. In just over a decade, NYGG had become a name to reckon with in the China market as well as a market leader on Wall Street. The company has successfully executed more than 200 China-related transactions and has access to significant investment capital of more than US$500 million.

Benjamin Wey is a leading authority on bilateral trade relationships between China and the USA. He is the president of New York Global Group, the only Wall Street middle market advisory firm that is headed by a bilingual Chinese American. Benjamin Wey is the successful model of the American spirit of entrepreneurship.
