Honda Cr-v, Fit, And Insight Boosted Honda America’s Sales

Sales increases among car makers were pretty normal these past few months. This trend was probably caused by different reasons. One of these reasons could be the growing need for vehicles that car buyers could use either for personal or business-related undertakings. Besides this, most observers also point out the availability of best new car deals offered by most car dealerships and manufacturers to as one of the reasons for this sales boom. Almost all car makers benefited from this phenomenon and this includes American Honda.

Just this April, statistics gathered by the company showed that Honda’s sales has increased by about 5.9 percent and this was pushed by the rise in demands for vehicles such as the Honda Insight, the Fit, and the CR-V compared to their sales in April last year. The number of units that Honda America has sold as of April this year has reached to about 124,799 units which is 11, 102 units higher than what they sold last year.

... by almost 25.3 percent. This means that the total number of CR-V’s sold in the first quarter of 2011 has reached 21, 683 units and still in continuous increase. The CR-V leads all of the Honda-made vehicles.

The increase in Honda America’s sales was further improved by the rising demand for the sub-compact Fit. For the month of April this year, the demand for fit has increased by 66.3 percent or a total of 8,116 units sold. In addition to this, the Insight which is one of Honda’s hybrid vehicles has also did its share in increasing the company’s over-all sales in America. Just this April, a total of 2, 644 units of Honda Insight were sold in America.

These figures simply show that there are still a lot of car buyers who prefer to purchase Honda-made vehicles. This is because the vehicles that this car maker creates are reliable as well as suitable to those who want to buy car with bad credit. As long as this trend would continue, Honda would surely earn larger profits in America.
