India is a place of wonder with several interesting historical facts and culture. India is attracting large number of people with its rich and varied heritage. Bounded by the majestic Himalayan ranges in the north and edged by an endless stretch of golden beaches, magnificent historical sites and royal cities, misty mountain retreats, colorful people, rich cultures and festivities. There are many fascinating cities in India that stand tall with its unique features. Nowadays, Bangalore and Bombay cities are becoming the favourite hot spots of India because they provide a better platform for growth and living.
Few important hot spots of Bangalore City are listed below:
- Venkatappa Art Gallery:
- One of the country's oldest art museums, this gallery houses many interesting antiques and archaeological objects.
- Cubbon Park:
- Over 250 acres of this green park is just right for long walks and hosts a children's amusement park, a doll museum and a toy train for children.
- Lalbagh Gardens:
- It covers an area of 240 acres. The Glass House, inspired by the Crystal Palace in London ...
... is a favourite spot in Lalbagh which hosts the famous Flower show during the month of August.
- Bangalore Palace:
- It is built similar to medieval castles in Normandy and England. Its interiors boast of elegant woodcarvings and Tudor -style architecture.
- Tipu's Palace:
- It is constructed mainly in wood and has fine intricately sculpted arches surrounded by exquisite minarets.
Few important hot spots of Bombay City are listed below:
- Karjat:
- Karjat is where the coastal plains of the Konkan end and the Bhor Ghat begins. In the monsoons and just after, the area is a luxuriant green. Karjat has a number of health resorts, farmhouses and is a base for some easy treks in the area.
- Tansa Lake and Wildlife Sanctuary:
- The Tansa Lake and Wildlife Sanctuary is a quiet but immense water spread of the lake nestles amidst the thick forest of Tansa. The wildlife sanctuary occupies an area of 216.75 sq km and is home to the tiger, panther, sambar, cheetal barking deer, wild boar, jackal, common langur and bonnet macaque.
- Alibag:
- A small seaside town, it is also a convenient base for visiting Kihim and Akshi - Nagaon beaches and the Kolabad Fort, a sea fort that is approachable only during low tide.
- Kihim:
- An exclusively beach laced with lush coconut trees just 11 Km from Alibag.
- Jawhar:
- Jawhar, a predominantly tribal hill station, is abundantly endowed with natural beauty and scenic locations. Places worth visiting in and around Jawhar include the Jai Vilas Palace, Hanuman Point, Sunset Point and Shirpamal.
All these hotspots turn Bangalore and Bombay cities as the best cities of India.
