Create and describe at least one instructional activity based on a view of geography as the study of relationships within places, humans, and environments.
Activity Description

Geography
Geography is the study of relationships within places, humans, and environments How do people and environment relate to each other? Examining the how people live and what they do gives a clear and concise idea of how they adapt to each other. Depending on the culture of the religion of the inhabitants of any given area, its easy to know how people live and how the environment they live in favor their living. For example, Early European who settled in Hudson Bay in Canada regarded the area as nine months of ice and 3 months of mosquito, but they inhabited the area for many years and it remains an area with the most wildlife and leading in fur production. Environment and people are able to relate because they adapt to the activities that they are supposed to do and are favored by the location.

Why should historical events and people be important to me?
History deals with the most important events in the past. History is very broad, as it comprises of different events that have happened in different places and locations, their influence to people and what influenced then as well. History is so important to learn as it tests the knowledge of one understands of the reason why some things happened in life. History helps in knowing how people did good and important things in the past and why others did some evil things in the past.
When a person understands history, he understands the basic concepts of ideas and it will be easier to learn the relationship of people and their environment and other things as well. On the other hand, one is able to know how attitudes of people are changed by a given action.
People are also very important, as they are part of the history. Without people, history cannot exist. To me, people are the cause and the source of history and they make history an important factor through passing history through generations. Without people, there can be no history (Tosh, 2006).
Create and describe at least one instructional activity for your grade level that teaches children to think critically about historical events and people.

Instructional Activity descriptions

Origin of people In this activity, it will be easier to teach the children the origin of history and how it came to be. This will also on the other hand help making the learning easier through attracting their attention. This will also help in making students feel the need for knowing more about their origin and how their existence is impacted by the history as well as other themes of geography.

What is economics and why should I care?
Economics can be described as a social science that tries to analyze the production, distribution as well as the consumption of goods and services. Economics explains how different economies works and also how economic agents interact. The economic analysis is applied throughout the societal affairs like businesses, finances and in government as well.
Economics is one of the most important things in the world and worth to care about. Economics determine the welfare of a person or a place. When the economic is well, there is always a probability that people in that area are enjoying the living and there is supply of probably what they may need for life. However, when the economy is bad, all the concerned parties suffer and they do not get what they are supposed to have in that particular time or it is hard to get (Hugo, 2000).
