Everyone who has a PC these days knows the name Microsoft MCITP certification. The majority of our Operating-systems & computer-software come from Microsoft, so we are using it in our homes and on the job on a regular basis. Even in schools and colleges, our youngsters are benefiting from MS's global educational packages. Founded in 1975, by the now infamous Bill Gates, they quickly dominated the domestic Operating System sector over the 1980's, delivering the 1st versions of 'Windows'. The Operating Systems that we use today are the effect of several 'evolutions' of Windows betwixt now & then. We have consistently been provided with a choice of the Windows Home version and the Windows Professional version, with every update applying to both operating systems. In network terms, 'Windows' 2000 replaced 'Windows' 'NT'. Then we had Windows Server '2003', with Windows Server '2008' being the latest edition. From the time Microsoft began developing certification paths, there have been programs in place for students to study how they can professionally administer their operating systems.

There are actually 4 'Microsoft Certified Professional' ('MCP') exams to sit to pass at the 'MCSA' grade. There are 3 required 'core' examinations, and a 4th 'elective' examination. The CompTIA Security+ is now accepted as an 'elective' examination, & has grown more and more popular with all trainees for obvious reasons. To successfully achieve your overall MCSE there are seven MCP examinations to gain. These predominantly stress network design, security & systems planning.
This of course reveals that there's a fair bit to be aware of when deciding upon MCSA and MCSE training. Before you commit anything on what may seem like a great 'MCSA' or MCSE bundle, it is generally sensible to talk through all the details with an experienced training-advisor. Some extremely expensive programs aren't always of the best quality, & certain affordable ones are particularly good. You just can't determine a course on cost alone.
