70-290 exam was initially available on August 14, 2003 and this Proctored Exam and candidate who will pass it gets MCSA required exams on windows 2003 Server credential and can work in medium to large scale organizations. Microsoft’s 70-290 test is designed to measure your ability to manage and maintain a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 environment. Upon passing this test you will become a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
70-290 is intended for systems administrator and systems engineer candidates who are responsible for managing accounts and resources. These tasks include managing user, computer, and group accounts; managing access to network resources; managing printers; managing an organizational unit in a network based on the Active Directory service; and implementing Group Policy to manage users and computers. This course also provides students with the knowledge and skills that are needed to effectively maintain server resources, monitor server performance, and safeguard data on computers running one of the operating systems in the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 family.This course will prepare the student for the 70-290 certification exam.
