Your kids start developing their character at home. As they grow and develop, they would have to extend their learning within the neighborhood, and then in school and other social and public situations. Kids are easily overwhelmed by change. Some kids seem naturally brilliant socially but others aren't you should never compare. You have to understand what makes the child shy or not confident about themselves. Some are shy when they are with their parents. You should not feel bad. Understand and learn how to participate. Building your child's confidence earlier on will help them in doing more complex social tasks and grow in the long run.

Kids will start developing crushes at very tender ages and while that is not a bad thing. It would be best if we take our time to understand the attitudes of our kids. Sometimes, siblings can get jealous of each other. One might have an achievement and the other one did not do that well. Do not compare each child. Every child is unique and special and you should inculcate it to them that you love them equally. Kids do get jealous of each other and it is normal when they are kids but if they carry it over in their pre teen and teenage years, it could be an issue that you must address and fix before it becomes a rift between your kids. Nonetheless, it is important to always show partiality when making decisions and to be appreciative of the kids and shower them with love and attention. No material thing can offer those kinds of things to your child.

Bullying is a serious issue that happens in schools and even outside the school. If you sense that your child is either being bullied or is a bully, you have to talk to them. Action that is detrimental to others should not be tolerated. Parents should always ensure that they kids have proper guidance and love. The molding of the child starts at home and it is necessary that parents recognize the faults of their children. Do not play the kids will be kids card. It is important to settle the issue in a non accusatory manner to make them feel comfortable about disclosing themselves.
