Mini In Size But Not In Output - The Mini Light Bars Are Just What Your Emergency Vehicle Needs
There is a saying in some quarters that says 'size isn’t everything', now that could have been said with the Mini light bars in mind. The modern units can be fitted anywhere on the vehicle, either internally on the dash, visor or rear window. Externally the units can be fitted in the grill areas, on the roof and on the number plate and front or rear lighting areas. The absolute versatility of the Mini light bars has made them extremely popular with all emergency services departments. When you consider that the new Generation III LED lights give a massive amount of light output you can see that a larger light bar sometimes just isn’t necessary.
LED lighting technology has come on in leaps and bounds in recent years and the light bars now need less in the way of size. Mini light bars can be utilized just as effectively as some of the larger units and why have a massive lighting unit when a smaller one will do the job. Don't think just because the unit is smaller you won't get the same kind of versatility as you would be wrong. A range of flash patterns, different colour options and ease of mounting ...
... make the Mini light bars the first choice for many emergency departments.
The benefits of using the Mini light bars are many, they will give far less power drain on a battery, they are easy to use and they can be fitted and up and running in a matter of seconds. The light bars can be fitted via suction cups (be aware of any state legislation on the use with suction cups) or magnetically. Powering the Mini light bars can be via the cigarette lighter, which is ideal if you don't need a light unit on your vehicle permanently. Alternatively, the light bars can be permanently fitted to a vehicle and wired in to run from the electrical system. Light bars are here to stay and the mini versions are certainly giving the larger ones a run for their money.
Many of the Mini light bars are LED although you can still obtain halogen versions, but why would you, as they are much more expensive to run. There are still many valid reasons to have a full size lightbar on emergency vehicles as they make them highly visible and they are instantly recognizable which can help maintain their safety. Of course, the word mini and what you think mini is can be open to interpretation. The same can be said of the light bars themselves. A 23" light bar and a 12" light bar can both be classed as mini, and it can come down to the size of your vehicle as to what you would need to go for.
Whatever your lighting needs for your emergency and first response vehicles there is a vast choice available. The full sized light bars can give you maximum visibility and are instant warning signs to others. Strobe lights can give you a very iconic emergency light that most would recognize immediately and the Mini light bars can give you the more compact lighting options for your vehicles. The Mini light bars are becoming extremely popular for inside vehicles and when used with their larger versions can be the perfect combination of emergency vehicle lighting.
