If you choose the integrated program, you will be enrolling for a fixed schedule curriculum and will have to pay the course fees at the time of enrolling. Modular flight training programs are a whole lot cheaper as compared to integrated programs. Moreover, because they offer more flexibility with regards to schedules, you can even carry on your regular job which means there is no loss of income to you, bringing down the cost even more.

Another significant factor that comes into play is the types of aircraft you are learning to fly as well as your ultimate goal. Do you wish to enroll in a flight training program and learn to fly just as a hobby; do you wish to make flying your career or is it your ambition to become a flight instructor? Each of these requires different levels of training and therefore different fees too. As a hobby or a recreational pilot, you will require basic training with a minimum of solo flying hours as a trainee pilot. You can only fly for fun and while you are allowed to carry passengers on the plane with you, you will not be allowed to fly for hire. The fees for this type of training will be the lowest.

To be able to fly for hire and earn money for it, you will be required to complete a certain number of solo flight hours before you are cleared to fly for commercial purposes. The pilot training fees for this program is considerably higher than that for the hobbyist pilot. Training to be a flight instructor or an airline transport pilot are the highest of all.
