Originally called Beodericsworth, Bury St. Edmunds is the main town in borough of the StEdmundsbury. It is a Market town and famous for brewing and malting and for its English sugar factories. It is also the cultural hub for west Suffolk thus making it a favored tourism destination.
Tourism naturally means lodging and food requirement and Bury St Edmunds hotels will not disappoint you in this regard. There is the Suffolk Hotel Golf and Leisure, Fox Inn and Restaurant, the Black Boy Public house, The Greyhound, The Grange Hotel, to name a few.
