Why Should I Even Worry About The Mcse & Ccna Exams
As someone who grew up with a mouse and keyboard and eventually landed in a technology ccna practice exam career, I play dual roles as computer hobbyist and technology specialist. It's generally both enjoyable and profitable to practice my hobby by helping those in need of technical expertise such as the local business owner or the friend of a friend who has somehow managed to "break" their computer and needs a quick solution.
Turning your hobby into a profitable business venture can be rewarding but sooner or later you'll probably need a real job and there's where the network certification exam comes in. When you think about it, it makes sense that the technology industry needs to establish a certain set of standards to judge the qualifications of an individual. Other professions do the same thing. Lawyers must pass the state bar exam and accountants receive their professional certification by passing the CPA exam.
In the technology industry there are many certifications such as MCSE and CCNA. Personally I became interested in earning my Network+ certification. It all started ...
... when I applied for my first job. I found it difficult to list my qualifications other than to say I had been working on computers and fixing them for several years. What the heck does that mean? Can't a lot of people make that statement? That's when I started to understand the need for a system of meaningful qualifications. Just having a Network+ certification says more than I could write on several pages of a job application and the best part is that prospective employers see these qualifications and give instant credibility to applicants who possess them.
Once you've decided to take the Network+ certification exam, what's the best course of action to prepare for it? First of all look at all the available certifications and be certain the Network+ certification is the one that best suits your professional objectives. The Network+ certification covers the basics of on-site troubleshooting with respect to PC hardware and software and networking. That's exactly what I had been doing for many years and that's what I enjoyed so the security+ certification was the one for me.
As I looked into several options for Network+ certification exam training I was disappointed to find the cost of classes offering Network+ certification training in the neighborhood of $1,000. If that wasn't bad enough, they took several weeks to complete. So that would take $1,000 out of my pocked and waste valuable time in a classroom when I could be earning a decent salary working on computers. I already knew how to do it. I just needed to pass the Network+ certification exam to prove it to employers.
Fortunately before I chose this unattractive option I spoke to a few people and discovered I didn't really have to take these Network+ certification exam preparatory classes after all. All I had to do was pass the MCITP certification. How I gained the knowledge to do it was up to me. I had the advantage of years of real world hands on experience in the subject matter so I decided to take the test and I passed. I'm now MCSE Network+ certified and making a good living in a field I enjoy.
