Red Tops And Dresses

Red is really a staple color and you really must have a few great go to red tops and or dresses. Of course there are a variety of different shades of red and depending on your preferences you can certainly find as many different shades or tones of red as you can different styles of tops or dresses. If you're looking for a basic v neck top Zooey by Alice Heller has great shades like Rosewood or Crimson as beautiful red colors.
Zooey's Shirred Empire top in Rosewood features a rich beautiful red in a fabulous modal jersey fabric. This red is certainly a great power color and it is a true red rather than a red bordering on orange shade. The shirred empire top features a v neckline and an empire waist. The empire waist lends itself to a flared waist with pleats in front and back and at the shoulders for added detail. This is a beautiful, elegant top with lots of detail and in a fabulous red color.
This season coral is one of the most popular colors and you can easily find great coral shades in red that do have a hint of an orange for a completely different shade of red from the Rosewood color. Velvet's Mae Ruffle ...
... Neck Tank top is a great example in Cayenne a beautiful red coral shade with an orange tint. The bold red color looks great under a black blazer to work or under a black wrap or cardigan. The ruffle of course is a fabulous detail with a tie around the neck as well. Made of baby jersey cotton this top is comfortable and casual.
As for a dress, my personal favorite is the Chapel dress by Velvet with a beautiful red and white pattern. Part of Velvet's Spanish Tile collection, this fitted dress features a v neck and knot at the base of the v neck helping to give the dress a bit of an empire waist. The pattern is really my favorite on this dress and I love the red blended with white so it isn't too overpowering with solid red. The tile pattern really is a great distinction which makes this a popular statement dress.
It isn't difficult to see that there are no shortage of options for different shades of reds in a variety of different style tops and dresses. In fact having a variety of different shades of red really takes finding statement tops to another level. In particular this summer you will want to make sure that you have the perfect shade of red to work as a coral which is a great way to extend your wardrobe by adding a versatile piece with staying power beyond possible seasonal fad colors. As you can see, red is really a great staple color and with the variety of shades you really can't have too much red in your closet and of course there are so many styles to choose from ensuring that you can incorporate red into your closet in so many great ways.
