Debts at the personal level can be tackled with the help of debt relief options and debt care services but when the national deficits takes an uncontrollable form of financial downturn, it turns into an irreparable economic loss for the entire nation. Year after year we are getting billions of dollars poorer as a nation as our imports have already exceeded our exports to the rest of the world. Meanwhile thousand of factories and millions of jobs continue to be sent overseas as American cities turn into post-industrial wasteland. Income is low while unemployment is still at a fearful height and on top of that very few of our politicians have an idea of how to fix the situation. Hence Americans have to take ready and relevant actions to combat the crisis at the earliest. To start with, we got to become less dependent on our jobs due to sudden recessions and job loss conditions. Now is the time to start investigating alternate sources of income and different ways to build wealth. Today it takes the average unemployed American over 33 weeks to find a job. You ...
... may not always be able to count on being able to get a good job, and the economy is only going to get worse over the long-term.

All of us should be operating under the assumption that any jobs we now have will someday be taken away. Do not forget that most of our debts are going to hang over us wherever we go and getting rid of them can be extremely liberating, paving our ways for other financially constructive outlets and options. It will give you much more freedom and will make you far less dependent on your job. In fact, it looks like a lot of Americans are already moving in this direction. It was recently announced that 8 million Americans have stopped using their credit cards over the past year. However umpteen times have we read and known about this but reducing expenses and tightening our purse strings is a ‘must do’ in this situation. Cut out all extravagances and luxuries to save for the stormiest days. Get lucky to get hold of a piece of land by purchasing it which can provide a much-needed source to financially rely upon in bitter times. Another reason why you want to purchase some land is so that you will have somewhere to grow food if you need to. 100 years ago almost all Americans knew how to grow their own food, and most of them also knew how to raise farm animals.

A great way to begin is by starting your own “survival garden”. Explore the alternative energy sources which can make your self-dependent at times of complete loss of power sources. Apply and follow the principles of frugal living and check misuse of consumable items and necessary materials at all levels in your family. Value and understand the prospects of buying gold and silver which may exceed the value of your paper money in the future. It is also estimated that the increasing financial tensions can increase heart and lifestyle diseases and may a take a great toll on our health and that in turn can make a bigger hole in our pocket; so it is advised to keep fit and healthy in order to confront and sail through the hard times. Most importantly the upcoming crisis situation expect us to come closer with our fellowmen and live in a financially symbiotic environment which certainly will provide that much needed support and cooperation in troubled times.
