Hi, I’m Eddie Z. I have more than fifteen years’ experience trading markets electronically and I’m here to share some secrets with you on how to get the very best of your trading system. I’ve written a comprehensive informative guide that encompasses every aspect to a Computer For Traders ,from battery backups to CPUs. I also cover “7 Deadly Trading Computer Mistakes,” and today, I’m going to give you a snapshot of three of them.

The initial mistake users make when trying to build or buy a computer for traders is thinking the desktop already installed – the one with the tube-style monitor and dusty hard drive – will suffice. I’m here to assure it definitely, undoubtedly, and assuredly will NOT.

Mistake number two is along the same lines: a laptop is a newer technology, right? It must work well as a computer for traders, right? Wrong. While your laptop can handle the daily surfing of the Internet, it is built as miniaturized version of a desktop – meaning all its moving parts are built for portability, not power, and not speed. What’s more, ...
... laptops confine your options to a single monitor and touch pad, severely inhibiting your navigability. You can’t expect to increase, or even maintain productivity levels with such limits placed on your space and processing capabilities.

And the third mistake I will cover today is called “retail.” The plain and simple truth is that the salesmen down at the electronics store, selling out-of-the-box computer models are exactly that: young salesmen. They are not traders, nor do they have any grasp on what a Trading Computer processor, RAM, and motherboard should be capable of performing. Their pricing offers might be attractive, but I promise you they are not worth the aggravation. They are not cutting-edge technology; they are not the latest models. They are cheap and made by the thousands. And remember, you’re working with serious skill as a trader. Your equipment should be equally skilled and represent your best foot forward. Surgeons don’t shop for instruments at the drugstore, do they? Likewise, respect your profession and find equipment that is specifically designed to withstand the high demands a trading computer requires.

These are just three of my “7 Deadly Trading Computer Mistakes.” To read all my tips and tricks, download the guide – it’s completely free and is chock-full of additional information all about computers for traders. I can help save you thousands of dollars on your next trading computer setup.
