Defining A New Security Template
You can define a new security template and then modify the default settings to meet yourMCTS windows 7 requirements.
To define a new security template, complete the following steps:
1.In the Security Templates console, double-click Security Templates.
2.Right-click the template path folder where you want to store the new template and click New Template.
3.In the dialog box for the templates folder, type the name for the security template in the Template Name box. Type the description for your new security template in the Description box, and then click OK.
4.In the console tree, double-click the new security template to display the security policies and double-click the security policy (such as Account Policies) you want to define.
5.Click the security policy you want to define (such as Password Policy), and then double-click the security setting to define (such as Minimum Password Length).
6.In the Properties dialog box for the security setting, select the Define This Policy Setting In The Template check box to allow configuration, and then ...
... configure the security setting.
7.Click OK.
8.Configure other security settings as needed.
9.Close the Security Templates console.
10. In the Save Security Templates dialog box, click Yes to save 70-680 test questions the new security template file.
Importing Additional Security Templates into a Database If you determine a need to import additional templates or a more appropriate template into the security configuration and analysis database, you can import additional security templates into the database. You can merge several different templates into one composite template that can be used for security analysis or configuration by importing each template into a security configuration and analysis database. Conflicts are resolved in the order in which the templates were imported; the settings in the last template take precedence. You can also import an additional security template without merging it with the exist?ing template(s). In this type of import, the imported security template replaces any existing templates.
To import an additional security template into a database, complete the following steps:
1.In the Security Configuration And Analysis console, right-click the Security Configuration And Analysis node, and click Open Database.
2.In the Open Database dialog box, click the database to which you want to import the additional security template, and then click Open.
3.In the console tree, right-click Security Configuration And Analysis, and then click Import Template.
4.In the Import Template dialog box, select the file representing the additional security template you want to

5.Repeat the previous two steps for each template you want to merge into the database.
