*There are eighty nodal points on the face which can be considered for identity verification. If the biometric face recognition time attendance system takes only a little out of them into consideration, there are higher chances of False Accept Rate. Unauthorized individuals may be allowed to mark attendance on behalf of the authorized employees.

*Considering too many nodal points at the time of verification may lead to high False Reject Rate. Variations in the pose at the time of making a transaction as compared to when enrolled also affect the transaction. If the head is slightly tilted or nodded, the biometric face recognition time attendance system may fail to identify the individual.

Possibilities of an error prevail in the above mentioned circumstances. However, modern face recognition time attendances are designed keeping all the above possibilities in mind. They are more accurate than manual modes of attendance marking. The chances of committing errors by a biometric face recognition time attendance system is less. One can rely on this application for attendance marking of a huge staff or a large number of students.
