While it is definitely slightly more costly to have a running contract with a company to perform regular maintenance on your telephone systems, it is worth the extra expense to ensure that your phone lines are always operating smoothly and without any problems. Otherwise, you might find yourself in a situation where your customer really needs to call you in order to close a deal but is unable to reach you due to a faulty telephone line that you did not even notice was malfunctioning.
