African culture is much amusing because of its sculptures, paintings, art and traditions which signify mostly religion and different forms of worship. Sculptures, made of wood are famous in Africa and so are exported worldwide. Metal, stone, ivory and other materials are also used in making sculptures. Special rituals performed throughout the year in various parts of Africa shows the way of their religious life. Certain strange beliefs are also in existence in Africa that life is controlled by spirits and there are witches who practice spiritual powers through sacrifices. African art and craft signifies various themes that depict the culture and life style of people living there.
