Medieval Era which is preceded by Renaissance era has witnessed a lot of changes in political and Social Situation. Much disastrous things happened in the medieval period and people’s outrage give rise to renaissance era which means a new birth. During medieval era people of lower ranking in society were deprived from the luxurious of life and often treated as slaves. This can be seen from their clothing style also.

The upper class people who were rich and wealthy could afford to make fashion statement. The simple logic, the more money you have, much better you will be dressed. The women wore flowing gowns and elaborate headdresses. The wealthy could also be seen wearing furs or jewelry, though the art of cutting gems had not developed significantly, so the stones were of lesser quality. Men wore tunics or jackets with hose, leggings and breeches.

For the people of lower class like peasant, Lenin undergarments were common and outer clothing was made of wool. During winter season and colder day’s capes and cloaks were used along with woolen hat and shoes. Although shoes were considered a bit of luxury like ...
... leather boots but some class of peasants could afford them.

Medieval clothing cape and cloaks specially wore in winters was supported by people of every ranking but that was also depends on fabric of the Cloaks and Capes. Long in length with or without hoods, these dresses do give an evil look, a holy person look, a warrior look or a peasant look. Medieval hats were also available in different styles and designs like Leather Top Hat, Anne Boleyn Hat and Nottingham hat. Most of the hats were made from artificial method and leather also used with precious metals, thus most of them were affordable by higher class only.

Renaissance costumes Jewelries were rich in their designs and appearance. The beautiful use of color patterns on precious metal piece made them attractive and increases the level of temptation. Bracelets, Ear Cuffs, Necklace, and Pendants were made of gems, precious stones on natural and artificial metals. In Medieval era scarf were commonly wore during winter season but worriers, royals and merchants supports them in all season. Short Scarf’s were worn around the neck and long scarf’s were worn at waist, on head or wrapped around the body. Sash is wrapped and tied around the waist to provide strength to upper part of body. Belts not only provide support to waist but also used for holding arms.

We know that the renaissance medieval era was a disaster when comes to nobility. It was all about wars, invasion and hijacking the ships of merchants, all these situations shows the gruel some act of taking someone’s life and swords were designed for this. During this period swords were thin and sharp, with rounded tips designed to slice an opponent in battle. Medieval Shields and helmets were used for the protection of soldiers and knight’s life. Placing shields between its owner and attacker block the swords or bows from direct attack, same with the helmets it also block the direct attack on face.

Tremendous problems during medieval era give birth to a new awakening, a new era called Renaissance, showed a new way of life, and brought much tranquility. Social thinking of people also changed during period, in a way it became much broad.
