I did not want to make a mistake when moving and hire inexperienced people to do the job. I plan to use Crystal Lake movers. I have seen what can happen first hand when you have people who do not know what they are doing trying to do a job that professionals do. So she took her boyfriend up on his generous offer and let his friends move her.

When they get to the place where Joan is moving, two guys are moving a TV up the stairs and one guy, of course the guy on the top, lets go. The TV tumbles down on top of the other guy, knocking him out and severely Injuring him. Of course the TV is broken, but that is besides the point. The big problem is that this guy has a concussion and ends up with bleeding on the brain in the hospital. There is considerable brain damage and it does not look as if the guy is going to make it.

Before Joan knows it, a lawyer is contacting her. Trying to hustle her out of money. She has no money but the lawyer does not care and says that this guy is going to sue. The guy ends up suing her insurance company. Luckily, she did have insurance or else she could have ended up losing everything that she had, which was not much. The guy goes pull through and is fine, but ends up walking away with a pretty big settlement check. It turns out that the two guys stage the TV thing all of the time. This time, something really did go wrong and the one guy was nearly a goner. As it also turns out, they usually look for people with bigger houses and more insurance to stage their gig, but this time they got Joan because they knew the boyfriend, who had no idea that his friends were so nefarious. So let this be a lesson to you. If you want to move, then hire professionals to do the job for you. You never really know who you are having help you and even if they are on the level, someone can still end up getting seriously injured if they do not know what they are doing when they try to help you move.
