Excessive exposure to sun should be avoided as much as possible. Don't scrub your face excessively and use only natural lotions and soaps. It is not recommended to apply oily lotions or milk cream on the sunburn skin because this will damage your skin more.

There are many natural remedies that can help you to get rid of the unpleasant effects of the sunburn. For example you can prepare a paste from barley powder, a few drops of olive oil, honey, white of an egg and milk. This remedy is very efficient only when the sunburns are on the face. Mix one part tomato juice with six parts of butter milk and apply the remedy on the sunburn areas. This remedy will help your skin to heal quickly.
