Today video surveillance systems are as technologically advanced as the computer and are priced competitively as a security alarm system. Since most digital video security systems are computer compatible it makes sense that more and more people are using them, instead of simple burglar alarms.

That's not to say that security alarm systems are antiquated or useless; on the contrary they still have their place in providing security and protection. But the video surveillance system was once considered a prohibitive household system primarily due to price. However, since they have left the analog era behind and have become digital in nature, not only have they reaped the benefits of the personal computer industry, but their price has become economical too.

That includes the line of covert video surveillance systems as well. Covert systems include hidden or disguised systems. Today, a digital video camera can appear as small as the size of a Phillip's head screw and an entire system can fit inside the confines of a ball point pen and the pen can still write and function as a pen!

... technology is versatility. Today's video surveillance systems are component systems which mean they're not restricted to one type, model, or manufacturer. Systems can be pieced together, component by component, each with its own set of specific functions allowing the user to design a system as specific as their needs require.

Security Camera King offers several complete packaged video surveillance systems. By packaged we mean that we have offer a system complete with Cameras, DVR (Digital Video Recorder), cables, connectors, and power supplies at an affordable price. However, we still recognize that one standardized video surveillance system that works for one application or individual may not work for another. Therefore, we allow you the flexibility to make upgrades and/or changes to your system, some of which are absolutely free, and others at a reasonable cost.

Security Camera King offers systems that feature one of each of our three high-quality DVRs. We further break those systems into pairs based on pre-cut lengths of cable complete with connectors and mini power supplies or bulk cable, connectors, and a power distribution box.

Starting with our Elite Mini video surveillance system we offer four cameras and the cable, connectors and power supply to support them. The Elite Mini system is an entry level system that is capable of recording CIF resolution on all four channels, real-time D1 recording on 2 channels, and playing back 4 channels simultaneously as well. It yields a high definition 720p HDMI Output display and a 1280 x 1024 VGA output.

The Elite Mini can support pentaplex operation; that is, it can monitor, record, playback, network, and back up all at the same time. These video surveillance systems also include a built-in Web server that lets you view and control the DVR and/or cameras remotely using either a personal computer or even a smart phone.

Not only can it handle access on the Internet, but this system supports up to 10 simultaneous network or Internet users. Two-way audio over the network or Internet is also standard, and the DVR doesn't require a static IP address (which normally costs more money through your Internet Service Provider).

The Elite Mini uses the latest and most efficient compression utility, H.264, to shrink the size of the digital video file in order to get maximum storage potential and to make the file easy to manage for the processor. Although the Elite Mini does not have room for a CD/DVD writer, it does provide USB access for creating backups or copies on USB Thumb drives. The Elite Mini system comes in 4, 8, or 16 channel models.

The next step up is our Elite series video surveillance system. The Elite comes in 4, 8, 16, or 32 channel systems and can do everything the Elite Mini can do and more. The Elite system includes a CD/DVD writer on board. Not only can it handle more cameras and greater storage and backup support but the Elite can also accept burglar alarm sensor inputs and outputs to notification devices.

Finally Security Camera King offers the Ultimate in video surveillance systems. That's it-the Ultimate; the Ultimate series system is so named because it truly is the Ultimate. The Ultimate DVR records up to a 704 X 480 resolution at 30 fps on all channels simultaneously. It can do more than the Elite Mini or the Elite. Check out our systems and see for yourself.
