The craze for the tablet PC segment amongst people looked to be well and truly over with the failure of continuous tablet PCs. However, with the launch of the Apple iPad, it has totally changed. One can use up to 32 GB memory cards in the Motorola XOOM to increase the internal memory even more. The Motorola XOOM will not be having any trouble accessing this amount of memory due to the presence of dual core processors. It is a significant change between this tablet PC and the Apple iPad, which has so far been the King of the segment. However, given the fact that it will be using a single core processor as opposed to the dual core one in the Motorola XOOM makes all the difference. Even though they might be rated at the same 1 GHz, the dual core processor is much more appealing not only due to the increasing power, but also due to the increase in efficiency as well.

The Motorola XOOM will be coming with dual cameras, with one camera located in the rear of the tablet PC and the other being located in the front of the tablet PC.
