The Haan Steam Mop is a reasonably priced mop with plenty of good consumer ratings to its name. This wonderful type of mop has a lot of fans for many reasons. One of the biggest of these reasons is because of how hot is gets. While the Shark Steam Mop cleans floors, it fails to get hot enough to sanitize them too. The Haan however gets to 212 degrees Fahrenheit which is hot enough to kill off germs, dust mites, and bacteria.

If you have allergies to dust mites, you might find the Haan Steam Mop particularly useful to have around since it comes with a deluxe sanitizing tray attachment. This attachment can be used to kill dust mites in bedding, mattresses, rugs, carpets, and on upholstery.

This type of mop from Haan is very lightweight. It's just over 3 lbs empty and about 4 lbs filled so it is easy to push. It's adjustable handle is a nice feature because you can fix it to your exact needs. Many kinds of this mop come with a one size fits all handle that makes it harder for shorter or taller 1people to use.

The Haan has 15 steam jets which gives it some pretty powerful steam action. It's mop pads are very ...
... thick and are made from a multilayer microfiber. The best part of the mop pads is how they attach to this kind of mop. The Haan's mop pads velcro right on to the bottom of the machine. It's much easier than other types of mop which require tying on or clipping on the pads. You get two mop pads with the purchase of your this product from Haan and additional pads can be purchased if you need more. Some people like to have additional mop pads on hand and it can be useful if you like to steam your floors every day or if you have a lot of floors to steam. I feel you get better results from this class of mop if you change the pad frequently too.

This wonderful mop from Haan does have some minor design flaws. The water tank really should be a little bigger. At just under 12 ounces, it is one of the smallest mop water tanks. Also, the cord is just under 20 feet which is a little on the short side but an extension cord could correct that problem. Finally, the mop head is also the location of the water tank which means the mop has a higher profile than some. Getting underneath cabinets and furniture to steam your floors can be a challenge because of this. Another Haan model, the Haan Slim and Light, is low profile.

Minor flaws aside, this is still a really sturdy, well made type of a particular mop that performs the way it should and gives good results.
