Advertising provides positive effect on the target group by making them more aware of options before they indulge in buying a product. In this regard it can be quoted that advertising provides an open choice to customers to purchase the product of their choice. Any advertising which provides purchasing options related to a product also allow the same target group to make wise decisions.
To launch an advertising campaign, it involves a lot of strategies and plans. The advertising campaign should clearly define the goal of the brand's promotional objective. If the campaign doesn't define the over all objective of the campaign, it is of no use to launch the ad campaign in the target market. Whatever form your advertising takes, or which ever tool your ad campaign uses, your advertisement should be able to remind customers and potential buyers the benefits of your product or brand. A particular advertisement should be able to stir up desire or need upon the audience's mind. In both the cases, audiences are likely to indulge in buying the product.

Secondly, having a deep understanding of the current market scenario is important before implementing a particular advertising campaign. For this you should conduct various surveys about consumer's behaviour, tastes, likes etc. An ad campaign should tune along with the present trend in the market so that the target group finds it relevant with their choice, taste or lifestyle.
Advertising and brand will contemporarily exist in the market. The tools and techniques of advertising may change but the objective of advertising will remain the same i.e. to inform, instruct or educate the target group about a brand, service, idea or business. To sum up, advertising is important for a brand to make its entry in the target market or to create a blare of its existence in the same market. To conclude, where there is brand (s), there is advertising.

Advertising as a matter of fact has become a favourite tool of marketing for every brand owners, every organization or firm. Advertising again enables brand owners to take part in that competition that prevails outside their organizations by redefining their promotion tactics or techniques from time to time. Competition is mandatory. Hence to take part in the competition and to stay ahead of competitor brands or organizations, one needs to focus on his advertising measures and practices.
In order to stay ahead of competitors, every advertiser needs to have a thorough study of the market and also about customers to whom the advertising campaign targets. The market is the place where the brand ad is going to be launched and customers are to whom the campaign is targeted at. Hence it is mandatory for every advertiser to study the market as well as the target customers' buying motives, habits, likes, dislikes etc. As an advertiser one should also take utmost care while communicating the brand message to customers. Any misleading or seemingly misleading brand message should never be delivered to customers as it may create a bad impression about the brand amongst customers.
An advertising message should always highlight only the best features of the brand along with attractive deals related with the same (if any). How customers will find it beneficial, how it will solve their problem (if any), how it is going to match well with their lifestyles - all these or any of this need to be highlighted through the ad message. The medium of advertising should again be interactive in order to provide a rich impact on target customers. Television Advertising, outdoor advertising, Mobile Advertising, Internet Advertising, Print Advertising etc are few avenues of brand promotion.
