An SWTOR account will offer the gamer choice between being a member of either of the two factions - the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. These factions will have different moralities, which is also the game's main focus. That is the character differentiation will be made using the player's faction and morality. The storyline:

The story happens 300 years after the events of the ‘Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic' games and more than 3,500 years before the events in the Star Wars films.
