By the time you read this, it might be too late for you. If you get addicted to overeating, you probably will have to control your cravings for the rest of your life, similar to any other type of addiction.
Allow me to repeat what I just said, in the same way that Michael Gerber puts it in his book The E-Myth: Everyone has a fat man and slim man inside him. If you are overweight, then the fat man will dominate your life and eating habits, but one day, when you try to lift weights and find you can't or try on your suit for special occasions and it doesn't fit, you will have a seizure. Then the slim man will be awakened, and you will start dieting. However, the seizure is usually short-term, and in a matter of days the fat man will wake up again (maybe at the sight of vanilla ice cream) and take over your body again. The thing is, the fat man grows stronger by the amount of weight you gain, whereas the slim man grows stronger by the amount of food you lose. So it is logical that if you have managed to put on weight for the last 5 years, you will find the slim man inside you very weak and unable to fight with the fat man. ...
... The trick here is to put the fat man to sleep in order to allow some time for the slim man to build some strength and be able to fight back. The longer you make the fat man sleep, the better for the slim man, and once the balance of power shifts toward the slim man, it will actually be difficult for you to gain weight back again.
The best thing to do when dealing with the fat guy is not to fight with him. He has needs, which are to have food and more of food. You need to give him food but little by little too decrease the amount of food. One of the best methods to achieve this is by using the 20% Off Diet where you will still have your normal food in your plat (and thus making the fat guy happy), but little by little decreasing the amount you eat from that plat. By doing so you will achieve two goals: first you will not invoke the fat guy who if gets upset will go toward mor eating and second you wil train your self to eat less food and this strengthening the slim guy inside you.
To know more information you can visit www.20offdiet.com where you will be introduced to a full method of how you can control the fat guy inside you.
