Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo Latest Phone That Incorporates Almost All Technologies
Sony Ericsson has been making a number of touchscreen phones over the years, but none have come close to the likes of the Apple iPhone 4 or the HTC Desire HD. However, the Mobile World Congress is expected to significantly change the attitude of Sony Ericsson phones because the launch of new touch screen phones that will be on par with the competition. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo is a phone that will be launched as a mid-range smartphone, but looking at the features of this awesome new phone, one will certainly doubt the positioning of this phone because the features of the phone seem extremely high end.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo will be launching in many countries including the United Kingdom and it will be providing stiff competition to the likes of the HTC Desire and so on. It will be having a 3.7 inch touch screen display that is similar to the 4.2 inch display of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc in terms of technology. It is only in the size department that the Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo loses out to its bigger ...
... cousin. The touch screen display will be powered by the same Sony mobile Bravia engine that is being used in the Xperia Arc. The scratch resistant display will be protecting the fragile touch screen display from losing its shine, which will eventually occur due to regular usage. The regular usage of the touch screen display is quite feasible because the capacitive technology and the multi-touch support that it provides are just too hard to ignore.
Internally, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo will be having a memory of 300 MB and this can be further supplemented by the use of memory cards in the slots that are provided in the phone. The maximum permissible limit for using the memory cards is 32 GB, which would be sufficient, even though the huge multimedia capabilities of the phone are truly spell bounding. The multimedia capabilities include the likes of the eight megapixel camera that can take 720 p HD videos along with good-looking images. The phone will be powered by a 1 GHz snapdragon processor that is similar to the processor rating of many high end smartphones. Due to the use of this powerful processor, the phone will be capable of running the 2.3 version of Android, which released only a few weeks ago.
The phone will be coming with connectivity options like 3G, Wi-Fi, DLNA and so on. Even though the presence of the 3G and Wi-Fi options in the phone is not surprising, the presence of the DLNA connectivity option, which is often considered as a premium connectivity feature, is a surprise. The phone will be powered by a 1500 mAh battery, which is expected to provide talk times of around seven hours in the 3G mode. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo has been announced by Sony Ericsson at the Mobile World Congress and it is expected to be available in the UK shortly. Moreover, you may also desire to explore Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc for other available deals.
